The year 2024 marks exactly 100 years since we manufactured our first presses. During the past 100 years, we have experienced significant technological evolution amid non-stop and unimaginable changes throughout the world. We have continued to provide stamping and fabricating machines to the automotive industry and many other fields around the world based on the Komatsu Group's basic philosophy of "Quality and Reliability". We are sincerely grateful to our stakeholders, such as our customers, distributors, suppliers, and employees, who have been with us for a century.
 To achieve sustainable growth over the next 100 years, together with our stakeholders, we will continue to focus on our basic philosophy of "Quality and Reliability" with new technologies and new ways of thinking.

 We will continue to work with our customers for the shared goals of increased productivity, reduction of inefficiency, and transition to a higher level of DX (Digital Transformation) by promoting Komtrax, an operation management and predictive maintenance system - a solution unique to Komatsu - which utilizes the ever-evolving IoT.
 Automation is required not only to realize cost reduction and quality consistency, but also to solve serious labor shortages in the current market. We will promote further development of automated machinery to support the sustainable growth of our customers.
 In our after-sales service activities, we will continue to develop solutions for customers, such as optimizing the timing of parts replacement through the evolution of predictive maintenance, extending equipment life through upgrades and retrofits, and visualizing productivity through operation management systems. We will contribute to our customers' objectives to achieve their targets of cost reduction, carbon neutrality, and labor savings.

 To achieve the above, it is important to develop and utilize diverse human resources regardless of gender, age, nationality, culture, and sense of values. We have offices around the world, and people of various nationalities and values are working hard every day to improve our customers' workplaces. However, we must strengthen our mutual understanding and work together more than before to solve many challenges we are being faced with under complex and fast-changing global situations.
